Why is the WHOIS Check Failing With "No WHOIS Data Found"

The Uptime.com WHOIS Check monitors a URL once every 24 hours. Uptime.com issues a downtime alert with either the date of expiry or the WHOIS information changes Uptime.com recorded.

If the WHOIS check is failing with a message stating “No WHOIS Data Found”, confirm that domain registration details are available for your Top Level Domain (TLD) or subdomain.
