What are Maintenance Windows?

Maintenance Windows allow you to define periods where maintenance is being performed on a resource such as a website and downtime is expected. While a check is in a Maintenance Window, the check still runs and records all data. However, alerts are suppressed and outages are excluded from uptime calculations. . 

Maintenance Windows can be defined for individual checks or for Status Pages.
