How to Identify the Uptime.com User-Agent?

Uptime.com Transaction Checks utilize the following user agents: 

 

User Agent for Desktop Sites (Last updated 19 Sep '24)

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/127.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Uptime/1.0 (https://uptime.com)

 

User Agent for Mobile Sites (Last updated 19 Sep '24)

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/127.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Uptime/1.0 (https://uptime.com)

 

The Uptime.com User-Agent for all other checks is:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Uptime/1.0; http://uptime.com)

When you review logs related to an outage, we recommend you locate the last time Uptime.com was able to make a connection to your server, and to look for any internal/external signals that may suggest a root cause for the outage.
