Who is Allowed to Change or Add a Payment Method?

Only the Account Owner is authorized to add, edit, or change payment methods on the account. This ensures that the account and billing information are secure.

The Account Owner can manage payment methods and the subscription by navigating to Settings > Billing & Subscriptions.

If the Account Owner is unavailable—for example, in cases where they have left the company—please email us at support@uptime.com, and our team will be happy to transfer the Account Owner role to an active user who can manage payment methods.

If you’re unsure who the Account Owner is, you can also reach out to support@uptime.com. We can identify the Account Owner and assist with any necessary changes to the account.
