Uptime.com offers multiple Status Page types, which each serve unique purposes. Note that although Status Page types differ in their purposes and some customization options, they use the same basic design and can be similarly configured in terms of appearance, visibility, and access.
Public Status Pages
Public status pages are designed to provide visitors with real-time information about the uptime and outages of the components associated with the Status Page. These pages are generally visible to the public, and they display data such as general system uptime, scheduled maintenance, downtime events, and ongoing incidents. They can be visible to the public or visible only to users in the Uptime.com account, or to external users via the External Users list.
Public SLA Pages
Public SLA pages focus on showing the historical uptime percentage of the checks associated with a status page. The page is designed to connect actual checks to components rather than having virtual components. These pages display important summary metrics, such as global uptime, total outages, historical uptime data, and total downtime over a specific period. Public SLA pages can either be publicly accessible or restricted to specific users.
Internal Status Pages
Internal status pages are designed for internal teams to access service health information. These pages provide detailed insights into outages, incidents, and scheduled maintenance, but their visibility is limited to registered users within your Uptime.com account. Internal status pages help teams monitor and respond to incidents while keeping sensitive data within the organization.
